Our motto

“We have to keep in our minds that nothing stays the same. Everything is in constant motion – we, our environment, our relationships, health, thoughts, our products and work, everything is changing. The things are getting better or worse. There is nothing in between. Stagnation means worsening. Every moment unused for improvement works against us.

We are working so to make things better.

Our story

  • 1990

    Company founded

Zelinger plast was founded on 1 May 1990. With a single injection molding machine, the only product at the time was plastic door handles. In the early days, the entire family pitched in — grandparents included. The product range later expanded to home accessories and sanitary goods.

  • 1993

Move to a new production hall in Zlín – Malenovice

As the company grew, new production space was needed. Both industry expertise and the customer base kept expanding, with names such as IKEA, Kores and Düwi joining the list.

  • 2015

Production expansion: new plant in Otrokovice

By 2015, production had grown to the point where a 1,500 m² external facility was opened and equipped with 8 new injection molding machines. Semi-automated production was launched.

  • 2015

Storage expansion: external warehouse in Malenovice

That same year, an external 920 m² warehouse with a capacity of 1,800 pallet positions was opened. Barcode-based inbound and outbound stock handling was implemented.

  • 2017

Relocation to new premises in Tečovice

2017 marked a new chapter for Zelinger Plast. A brand-new 8,500 m² production complex was built, equipped with state-of-the-art technology including a central material distribution system and mobile racking systems. Production, logistics and planning software was deployed, and zero-waste, lean manufacturing was introduced. By this point, Zelinger was operating 40 injection molding machines and 4 assembly units, while expanding its strategic portfolio to include industry leaders such as Shimano, Honeywell, ITW, Schott and many others.

  • 2018

    New modern production hall

The production hall runs on a lean process that delivers maximum efficiency and guarantees mass production of precision moldings in the shortest possible time. Sustainability is a core priority, so the new premises were equipped with modern technologies designed to minimize the environmental impact of our production – a state-of-the-art material drying and distribution system, LED lighting, an in-house wastewater treatment plant, and more.

  • 2022

Granulate silos and first electric injection molding machines

In 2022 we invested in the installation of three silos for granulate storage. This investment allowed us to optimize our storage space and eliminate unnecessary packaging waste. The first Fanuc electric injection molding machines were also purchased.

  • 2023

    New photovoltaic power plant

In August 2023, a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 465.76 kWp was commissioned.

  • 2024

    Expansion of the production complex

The company made major investments in expanding the production complex. A newly built raw material warehouse covers 547 m². A new 920 m² warehouse for finished goods was added, seamlessly extending the existing storage facilities. Half of the previous warehouse space was kept for storage, while the other half was converted into a production hall, giving the company an additional 651 m² for production expansion. The expansion also included extending the photovoltaic power plant to a total of 1,630 solar panels.

  • 2025

    Modern production facility

The company operates a modern production facility with 51 injection molding machines for efficient, high-quality plastics processing.
